About the Event

We'll come together in this beautiful yurt, set in the grounds of Knepps Castle, by a river and surrounded by nature.  The yurt is warmed with a wood fire burner, and is fully equipped with mats, bolsters, blankets, straps and blocks to support our practices.

Leaning into the energies that Samhain/Halloween bring - a greater opportunity for connection with the spirit realm/the divine, greater intuition, greater inner knowing and wisdom, a bringing the wild, untamed parts of ourselves.  Scorpio season (and her moon) create an opportunity to reclaim our full selves, to gather back the parts of ourselves we annex out, hide, ignore or avoid to be socially acceptable, to people please, to fit into boxes.  This workshop will allow you to be your full wild, untamed, unsocialised, unedited self.  We will connect to our vulnerability and reclaim all parts of ourselves in a beautiful, supported and held way.

Bridgid Hess (https://www.bridgidhess.com/yoga.html) and myself will be co-facilitating this half day workshop, exploring the body through yoga and movement, creating energy, flow - shakti - in the body working with the kundalini energies and raising them - so that we can come to stillness and deeper meditation through an embodied practice.  We are exploring how we can move our bodies to support a calming and recentering of our nervous systems, allow all that is present in our experiences to be held and witnessed in our bodies, and then moving with love and care to gently allow whatever arises to be, and to move it how it needs to be.

We'll be using a mix of practices rooted in Kundalini yoga, but drawing from other forms of tantra traditions, other forms of movement, the use of sound and mantra to create and move energy, and multiple forms of breathwork (including buddhist, mindfulness and heart-math).

There's plenty of on-site parking and the nearest train station is Horsham.  A shuttle can be arranged from the station to the venue and back if there are sufficient people coming by train.  Or I can pick you up.  Just an hour outside of London and yet a world away in the gorgeous countryside.

You can make a day of it by coming early.  I'm offering reiki healing sessions and tarot and oracle guidance in therapy tent in the morning (9.30am - 1.30pm) for £50 per session.  You can also wild swim in the river or take one of the many walking trails on the grounds.   Lunch is available at The Crown Inn in Dial Post or the Spring Gardens farm shop and cafe, which isn't far away.  Spend the day nurturing yourself and connecting with nature and return home more in love, more accepting of yourself and all that you are; more connected to your expansive magnificence and more grounded and balanced within yourself.
