Sharing circles
Create connection, meaningful friendship. Be seen, be heard, be you.
Talking circles are queer folx gathering around the fire (figuratively) and sharing stories, offering advice, gaining insights.
Built on the principle of deep listening, we will bring our full selves to each circle to listen, to speak, to be heard. There is a lot of healing which takes place when we are seen and heard.
This is a place for connection, for community and for friendships built on common ground.
Be seen, be heard, be you
LGBTQIA+ (Queer for short!) circles are held monthly on saturdays at The Old Bike Store in Worthing. A 2 hour session includes some movement, grounding, orienting and checking in with ourselves at the start. Then we set agreements for the circle and I'll share something about the topic. This is then followed by sharing from your own lived experience for a set amount of time followed by a couple of minutes of reflections and questions before moving to the next person.
